| Promoted first single "Too Shy" with other band members,
toured and embarked on major album promo campaign. The band's name, logo,
hair styles, clothes coordination, record sleeves and presentation
were all put together by myself. I also co-wrote, played on, arranged
and toured all the band's three LP's including six singles, three of which
I sang. |

| Formed "Ellis Beggs & Howard"
with Simon and Austin. Co-wrote the "Homelands" LP including the hit single
"Big Bubbles, No Troubles". Worked alongside the other band members on
the art work and presentation e.g. photos, videos, and sleeve design etc.
Musically directed the "Homelands" tour, supporting Bo Diddley, Ronnie
Wood, Roachford and T'Pau. |

two acts to the label, I worked with the band "Let Loose" and A&R'ed
the hit single "17", which achieved a position of number 11 in the National
Charts. I left in March 1994 due to a management change which rendered
the entire A&R department redundant |

| Invited to join "Alphaville" as musical director. Worked
with the band at their Berlin studio for a number of months. Later, I
was invited to join "Belinda Carlisle's
band" as bass player in preparation for the recording of her LP, "A
Woman & A Man". Spent three Months in Malibu making the record with
producer David Tickle. |

| Continued to record and play live with Belinda
acting as Musical Director until October 1996. The band toured supporting
Rod Stewart, Mike & The Mechanics, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Paul
Young and Zucchero. During this time I also continued to play various
sessions on bass guitar and Chapman Stick for artists as varied as Tina
Turner, Michael Bolton, D-Ream And Howard Jones. It was during a promotional
trip, I was approached by Kaz Utsunomiya (Senior Vice President A&R,
Epic U.S.) to produce and write for a new Japanese artist known as "Cozi".
I arranged, co-wrote and produced a mini CD for her titled "Naked Sun",
which featured high on domestic Japanese radio and received excellent
Reviews. Worked with a new Irish band called "Celtus" co-ordinating song
ideas and helping with direction. The band went on to be signed by Muff
Winwood to his label, S.2. |

| Continued to write, arrange and produce a further nine tracks
for "Cozi" released on Polygram Japan.
Wrote and presented part of the music business curriculum for The Guitar
Institute and Bass Tech (London). Went on to lecture at other music technology
colleges. |

| Set up this web site which has been nominated for various
awards. Recorded new L.P. with Kim Wild. Embarked on major tour of the
U.S.A. with Howard Jones along with The Human League and Culture Club.
Guested on Joan Hoggs' solo LP "Looking into light." Guested on the
new Celtus LP. |

| 1999 Guested on Maddie Prior's LP "Raven Child". Continued
to tour and record with Howard Jones. This included two more American
and European trips and the recording of a Live CD to be released soon.
Recorded "The Wovern Chord" LP with IONA
live at the Royal Festival hall. Then in May Robert Fripp recommended
me to John Paul Jones who was looking for a Stick player to tour his first
solo LP since LED ZEPPELIN, titled "ZOOMA." I naturally accepted the invitation
and embarked on a major world tour with John playing midi chapman stick.

| 2000 Completed my solo LP, titled " Stick Insect" and performed a number of solo Stick concerts to promote it's release. Played bass for a new solo singer by the name of Tom McRae, Produced by Chris Hughes Played various European festivals with John Paul Jones. Played various European festivals with Howard Jones. Embarked on a series of private illustration and painting commissions for clients around the globe. Recorded with IKOS for the BBC. Wrote and recorded a piece for Guitarist Magazine, reviewing the new NS Stick. Played two Dutch shows with IONA. |

| 2001 Recorded with John Paul Jones for his second LP release "THE THUNDER THIEF. Recorded on seven news songs for a singer named Jo Stevens. Produced by Steve Levine. Played a solo stick show at the Ards Guitar festival N Ireland. Embarked on a six week tour of the U.S.A. / Canada with John Paul Jones and King Crimson. In December my daughter and I made a tour of Cathedrals as part of the Classic Gospel |

| Recorded two tunes for "Pop Idol" Rick Waller. The tracks, Try a little tenderness and All cried out, were produced by Steve Levine. Played two shows with Dave Fitzgerald's IKOS. Embarked on a major Arena tour of the UK with the HERE AND NOW project, featuring: CHINA CRISIS, TOYAH, GO WEST, BELINDA CARLISLE and ABC. Recorded a bass session for RIGHT SAID FRED and was invited to be musical director for the upcoming September tour of Germany. Continued to write my quarterly articles for BASS GUITAR MAGAZINE. |

Discovered exciting new girl band Industrial Salt and embarked on writing and recording of future album and singles. Commenced the recording of second solo stick record, The Maverick Helmsman. Toured Germany with Right Said Fred. Gigged with ABC, Kim Wilde, Toyah, Howard Jones, Midge Ure and Nena. Recorded various sessions for projects such as Japanese band Polysics and Ryo Matsui. Reformed Kajagoogoo for one off show for VH-1 Bands Reunited. Had two of my songs recorded by Spanish singer KeKe one of which (Started) is released as his first single. Continued to write articles for BASS GUITAR MAGAZINE. Performed a stick seminar at The Academy of Contemporary Music, Guilford. |

Completed The Maverick Helmsman for release through web site. Commenced rehearsals of Industrial Salt with a view to presenting to record labels. Took part in the VH1, BANDS REUNITED show as a member of ABC. The show aired the same year raising the profile of the band and resulting in live shows across the UK. In addition to this ABC performed Live at the ‘Produced by Trevor Horn Show’ for the Princes Trust; In the presence of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. Performed live with Ryo Matsui in London. Recorded with Engelbert Humperdinck for his 75 th album ‘Let there be love.’ Interviewed Chris Squire for Bass Guitar Magazine. Performed live Solo Chapman stick recital in Belfast. Continued writing and recording with Industrial Salt securing overseas investment for promotions and recording budget. Played various sessions for miscellaneous artists and producers. |
