I believe it was spring 1989 at 'Ezee Studios', London when the bulk of these songs were recorded. They were produced while the band was still under contract to RCA/BMG records using the Fleetwood Mac mobile recording unit and submitted as part of the demos for our second album.

However the band never made another studio record and these tracks have been kept by me in storage until now.

The avid fans of Ellis Beggs & Howard have been requesting the release of The Lost Years Vol. 2 for quite a while, so it's my pleasure, on behalf of the band, to put all these tunes together and make it available to you exclusively through my site.

I decided to make this a free download as the audio quality, as with Volume 1, is quite poor. I've had to process every track to bring it to this barely reasonable standard and in some cases the tape distortion is still quite strong. But I hope you will take this small token in the spirit in which it is offered; from a band that had a short moment in the sun.
Rather coincidently, whilst mastering this material I came across this portrait of the band, painted by Ronnie Wood and felt it suited the moment perfectly.
